Once again many of the nation’s top girls’ lacrosse teams will compete Saturday at St. Stephen’s & St. Agnes in the 26th Annual Girls’ Lacrosse Spring Fling.

SSSAS Fathers’ Club sponsors the Spring Fling. Games are played on all three of the Upper School athletic fields, and the Fathers’ Club sells food and drinks to enjoy during the event. The Spring Fling draws highly competitive teams from our region and across the country.

Under Armour, in conjunction with Corrigan Sports Enterprises and Inside Lacrosse, is thrilled to announce the second wave of 11 girls who have been selected to compete in the 12th-annual Under Armour All-America Lacrosse Game on July 1 at Towson University’s Johnny Unitas Stadium. The girls game will get underway at 5:30 p.m., immediately followed by the boys game at 8:00 p.m.

The game’s participants, which will be announced in four waves of 11 players through the end of May, will be divided into North and South teams in conjunction with the release of the final wave. The first wave was announced on Tuesday, April 4.

The Wildcats travel East for a murderous schedule that begins today at undefeated Landon School (MD) and then Wednesday vs. Garden City (N.Y.) and Thursday vs. Chaminade (N.Y.).

3. Poway (CA) 12-2
The Titans host Loyola Los-Angeles (CA) and Torrey Pines (CA) this week.

The Bruins thumped Torrey Pines (CA), 15-4, and Columbine (CO), 14-5.

5. San Ramon Valley (CA) 12-2
The Wolves dropped Foothill (CA), 14-6. They play Redwood (CA) Tuesday.
