The 2015 STEPS Lacrosse Girls’ Rankings- Public
Final 2015 STEPS Lacrosse overall North America Rankings
1. Manchester Valley (MD) 19-0
The Mavericks defeated Queen Anne’s County, 16-5, to repeat as Maryland Public 2A/1A state champions.
2. Eastport-South Manor (NY) 19-3
The Sharks defeated Somers, 15-8, to win the NY Class B championship.
3. Mt. Sinai (N.Y.) 20-1
The Mustangs won their second NY Class C title in three years with an 8-5 win over Honeoye Falls-Lima.
4. West Islip (NY) 19-3
The Lions defeated Suffern, 10-9, to win the NY Class A state championship.
5. Manhasset (N.Y.) 18-1
The Indians fell to Wantagh, 9-6, Wednesday in the Nassau County Class B championship.
6. Wantagh (N.Y.) 16-2
The Warriors fell to Eastport-South Manor, 11-10, in the Long Island Class B finals.
7. Ridgewood (N.J.) 23-1
The Maroons defeated Lenape, 11-9, for the NJ Group 4 state title and play Summit Wednesday in the Tournament of Champions semifinals.
8. Century (MD) 17-3
The Knights won the Maryland 3A/2A title
9. Milton (GA) 16-4
The Eagles claimed their sixth straight 6A state title and 10th in 11 years with a 9-6 win over Walton.
10. Garden City (N.Y.) 16-2
The Trojans fell to Wantagh, 8-7, in the Nassau County Class B semifinals.
11. Longmeadow (MA) 22-3
The Lancers defeated Westwood, 10-9, in double overtime to win the Massachusetts Division I state title.
12. Darien (CT) 20-3
The Blue Wave defeated Wilton, 14-10, to win the Connecticut Class L state title
13. Middle Country (NY) 18-1
The Wolverines fell to West Islip in the Suffolk County finals.
14. Summit (N.J.) 20-5
The Hilltoppers reached the NJ Tournament of Champions finals.
15. Stephen Decatur (MD) 17-1
The Seahawks reached the Maryland 3A/2A finals.
16. Garnet Valley (PA) 18-9
The Jaguars won the Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic Association (PIAA) championship.
17. Conestoga (PA) 23-4
The Pioneers reached the PIAA finals.
18. Radnor (PA) 22-3
The Raiders reached the PIAA semifinals.
19. Vero Beach (FL) 20-3
The Fighting Indians won the Florida state championship
20. Suffern (NY)
The Mounties fell to West Islip in the NY Class A finals.
The 2015 STEPS Lacrosse North America Girls’ Rankings- Non-Public
1. McDonogh School (MD) 21-0
The Eagles won their seventh straight IAAM A conference title and completed a sixth straight undefeated season while winning their 133rd straight game with a 15-14 victory over Roland Park.
2. Good Counsel (MD) 19-2
The Falcons defeated Academy of Holy Cross 9-8 to win the DC WCAC title.
3. Agnes Irwin (PA) 23-1
The Owls claimed the Inter-Ac League title outright and defeated Episcopal Academy, 14-4, to win the PA Independent school state championship.
4. Bishop Ireton (VA) 20-3
The Cardinals dealt St. Stephen’s & St. Agnes their first loss, 12-10, to win the Virginia Independent state championship.
5. St. Stephen’s & St. Agnes (VA) 28-1
The Saints fell to Bishop Ireton 12-10 in the Virginia Independent State title game.
6. Oak Knoll (N.J.) 23-2
The Royals toppled Summit, 11-10, to win the NJ Tournament of Champions title.
7. Archbishop Spalding (MD) 15-5
The Cavaliers fell to Roland Park, 10-9, in the IAAM A Conference semifinals.
8. Academy of Holy Cross (MD) 16-3
The Tartans fell to Good Counsel 9-8 in the DC WCAC finals.
9. Roland Park (MD) 12-6
The Reds dropped a heartbreaking 15-14 decision to McDonogh in the IAAM “A” Conference final.
10. St. Anthony’s (N.Y.) 14-4
The Friars defeated Sacred Heart, 14-4, in the CHSAA title game.
11. Holy Cross (MD) 16-4
The Tartans reached the DC WCAC finals.
12. John Carroll (MD) 13-5
The Patriots reached the IAAM semifinals.
13. Notre Dame Academy (MA) 21-4
The Cougars reached the Massachusetts South Divisioon 1 finals.
14. Severn School (MD) 12-7
The Admirals reached the IAAM quarterfinals.
15. Episcopal Academy (PA) 21-5
The Churchwomen reached the PA Independent school final
16. Georgetown Visitation (DC) 14-8
The Tigers reached the DC ISL finals.
17. St. Anne’s Belfield (VA) 21-3
The Saints had a win over Loyola Academy
18. Loyola Academy (IL) 24-3
The Ramblers won the Illinois state championship
19. St. Ignatius Prep (CA) 17-3
The Wildcats had a win over St. Anne’s Belfield.
20. Hill Academy (Ontario, Canada) 6-2
Hill had several wins over IAAM teams
