Rock Canyon High School (CO) 2019 LSM-defenseman Cooper McNeily has made a verbal commitment to play Division I lacrosse at University of Utah.

Cooper McNeily profile:

Cooper McNeily

High School: Rock Canyon High School, Highlands Ranch, Colorado

Position: LSM/D

Graduation Year: 2019

Why did you choose Utah? “Utah has an amazing campus with an unbeatable coaching staff. The way the coaches treated me during the recruiting process was the least stressful and most comfortable it could be. The fact of being a part of something new, and the culture they have already created was undeniable.”

HS team’s outlook for 2018 season? “We are looking to make a big run this year with a lot of leaders stepping up after losing a couple of key players. We are working hard and looking at the ring.”

Thank You: “I want to thank my family, friends, coaches, specifically Coaches Gallant, Ward, Shewchuck, Coach Jr. and everyone who has supported me.”

Other schools considered: High Point, Hofstra
