Why did you choose this college? “The academics the school offered fit me perfectly. I wanted to major in sports management and they offer that major. Not only that, but there is a good job placement rate and they set students up for their future. I also loved the coaches. I connected with them very well and loved their visions for the future of the program and the direction the program is in. Two of my club teammates were already committed to Belmont Abbey before my commitment, and the thought of playing with them for four more years was very exciting. On top of that, I loved the area surrounding the campus as well as the campus itself. It all had a special, incredible vibe.”
HS team’s outlook for 2017 season? “We hope to win a state championship this year. We have been close countless times, but have yet to finish it out. Our senior class is very special with countless great players with experience. We’re excited for this year, it could be a special one.”
Thank Yous: “First off, thank you to my parents for the countless hours spent driving me to practices, tournaments and games. For spending all the money on club teams and travel for tournaments. And, of course, for their endless support and love. Also, a huge thank you to Coach Cooke for seeing my potential, having faith in me, and making me the player I am. Coach Gleason for helping me with my recruitment and coaching me up. Finally, coach Blackmore for believing in me and seeing my potential, as well as changing the kind of player I am in just one spring. Thank you everyone, couldn’t have been done without you.”
