Holy Names Academy (WA) 2018 defense Haily Santorsola has made a verbal commitment to play Division I lacrosse at United States Military Academy at West Point and begin the admissions process.

Club Affiliations: Team Washington, Puget Sound Select (PSS)
Lacrosse Honors: MVP 2016, Varsity Captain 2016 & 2017, PSS travels all over the US to play in tournaments. PSS will also be playing in London in the World Cup u19 tournament July 2017.
What will you major in/study? Undecided
Why did you choose Army? “My dad attended Airforce and my uncle went to Westpoint so this interested me. As soon as I learned more about the academies, I knew I wanted to go to one.
“As I looked more into Westpoint I fell in love with it. The leadership it teaches and produces is incredible, the people who come out of the school are guaranteed to be successful, It prepares you for anything life may throw at you.
“You can honestly find your niche because there is something for everyone. When you go there you can be really anything because of how many classes, majors, and opportunities it provides.
“Touring it only deepened my interest, the people are so open and welcoming it seems a lot smaller then it really is because everyone’s so willing to go out of their way to meet each other, make new friends and help each other with school work. Everyone wants you to succeed and there are so many resources available to the students it’s almost impossible to fail.
“I am so pumped to play for such incredible coaches and with such talented players!!!
“Also the network after, is incredible, people bend over backwards for academy graduates because, Westpoint has that reputation and people know what kind of leaders graduate from here. I am beyond excited !!”
HS team’s outlook for 2017 season? “We’re so ready! We’re gonna have a killer team and we’re excited to see the program continue to grow.”
