The TopLaxRecruits Western Boys’ Rankings:
1. Monte Vista 13-0 (CA)
The Mustangs defeated Marin Academy, 15-5. Friday, they face California High School for a home game.
2. Torrey Pines (CA) 9-1
The Falcons handed Cherry Creek a 15-11 loss.
3. Regis Jesuit (CO) 6-1
The Raiders shut down Denver East, 11-4, in preparation for a showdown Friday at No. 4 Cherry Creek.
4. Cherry Creek (CO) 4-1
The Bruins fell to No. 2 Torrey Pines, 15-11. Today, Cherry Creek will host No. 3 Regis Jesuit Friday.
5. Mountain Vista (CO) 6-0
The Golden Eagles beat Castle View, 11-5 and play Rock Canyon Friday.
6. Corona Del Mar (CA) 11-1
The Sea Kings devoured Tesoro, 17-6. Friday, they will suit up against Edison.
7. Bellevue (WA) 7-2
The Wolverines went 1-2 on their Long Island trip, closing with a 7-6 win over Long Beach. They take on Juanita Friday.
8. Poway (CA) 10-1
The Titans continue to dominate defeating Sam Ramon Valley, 13-4. Friday, Poway faces St. Ignatius Prep.
9. Foothill Santa Ana (CA) 11-3
The Knights earned a 6-4 win over St. Ignatius Prep and host 10-2 Palos Verdes on Friday.
10. St. Ignatius Prep (CA) 9-4
The Wildcats fell to Foothill-Santa Ana, 6-4. They have one of the strongest schedules out of any west coast team.
Under consideration: Arapahoe (CO) 6-2; Brighton (UT) 9-2; Corner Canyon (UT) 9-3; Coronado Red (NV) 19-2; Faith Lutheran (NV) 11-2; Foothill-Santa Ana (CA) 11-3; Granite Bay (CA) 8-1; La Costa Canyon (CA) 10-3; Mercer Island (WA) 6-2; Monarch (CO) 7-1; Oregon Episcopal (OR) 5-0; Palos Verdes (CA) 10-2; Park City (UT) 6-2.
