From Press Release

3d Lacrosse, the nation’s fastest-growing youth lacrosse training and events company, has acquired Phoenix, Arizona based Force Lacrosse. The acquisition will allow 3d to open its twelfth market and serve as the center of operations for the entire state of Arizona.3D

“Our commitment to the West continues to grow,” said Jamie Munro, CEO of 3d Lacrosse. “Our goal is to foster developing talent year after year with winning skills that will differentiate players from their competitors.”

3d Lacrosse, with extensive Western operations including people and programming in San Diego, Orange County, Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Portland now adds Phoenix and the entire state of Arizona to its quickly expanding domain. 3d has had a major presence in the West since its first acquisition in 2008 of the California Gold® showcase and Be The Best Camps from long time lacrosse industry veteran Peter Worstell, who now oversees 3d’s Western operation.

Greg Waldbaum, President & COO of 3d said, “We are always looking for great companies to partner with to expand our instructional philosophy. With its committed families, players, and coaches, we are confident that Force Lacrosse exceeds our expectations to apply and blend new teaching methods towards developing the best players in the country. We are thrilled to be integrating Force Lacrosse into the larger 3d family and look forward to a long and prosperous future in the State of Arizona. Matt Rakowski and Beau Pich are very much interwoven into the Arizona and larger national lacrosse scene and we are lucky to have them joining our ever expanding team.”

Founded in 2010, Force Lacrosse has been recognized for its outstanding instruction, small player-to-coach ratios and the development of leaders on and off the field, onto which 3d Lacrosse will now overlay its professional resources, infrastructure and training methodology.

3d Arizona will be managed by Force Lacrosse Director and Founder Beau Pich, a St. Mary’s High School (Annapolis) and University of Maryland NCAA Division I player whose coaching history includes positions at Calvert Hall in Baltimore, Brophy College Prep in Phoenix, and Force Lacrosse. Said Beau, “We are thrilled to be joining the 3d team, providing a national platform for our lacrosse families here in Arizona.”
